Hello everyone, how are you all doing? It's been another week that I have been doing this diet (or lifestyle change). So, I thought I would share my weigh in and how I have been doing. Weigh in: Starting - 242 Last - 224.4 Today - 225 This week I did go up 0.6 pounds, but I have been coming down from my last carb day. I have lost 17 pounds in a month and a half; not sure how good that is lol. The good thing is my blood sugars have been a lot better the last couple days - staying mostly between 80 and 100. Before I eat in the morning it might go up because of the dawn phenomenon. Now, what did I eat today? Meal 1 - 4 oz london broil steak (top sirloin) with a little butter, 2 eggs Meal 2 - 5 oz of the leftovers of the steak and 2 eggs, with a little butter and 2 cheese sticks Macros -- 1,374 calories, 0 carbs, 109 fat, 89 protein If I don't lose weight in the next couple weeks on the higher fat (2 fat to 1 protein) I will cut it back to 1.5 fat to 1 protein. I know a calorie deficit is important but so is fat for fixing hormones and such for fertility. I know, I need to get back into working out too; just need to start like I did with doing carnivore. So yeah, that is the plan for the near future.

17 pounds down in a month and a half is honestly awesome, that's real progress. Your blood sugars sounding steadier is a great sign too, you're doing something right. Keep going, the workouts will fall into place once you're ready.

I just thought I would be further along by now with losing so much in the first month. But maybe the 2nd half of this month I will lose more and catch up to the first months progress.

Just getting the weight off period ups your chance of getting pregnant. That’s why my sister initially lost so much weight; she wanted to get pregnant.

Yes, that does help some I am sure. And that is a good reason to work on losing weight. I just know my hormones have been out of whack for a long time so want to also work on fixing/healing them. Another reason I need to try to stick to it for 2-3 months straight

At 225 lbs I'm not judging, that's not good & I'm glad to hear your working on your weight, but how tall are you & what age are you? Why do I ask that? is cause that may have a lot to do with it. I'm 5ft 4 & 68 yrs old I went through a rough health issue & it took me a heck of a time trying to lose weight B-4 I crashed from my health issues, almost took me out twice that was from my Gallbladder & pancreas crashing on me & put me in the hosp for 6 mons from it, When I crashed & landed in the hosp I weighed 200 lbs & by the time I got out 6 mons later I weighed 140 lbs & this was back in 2023 at 65 yrs old.
