Well so much for the Penzey's fundraiser

I posted about in in our faculty FB group. I straight up said that I know Penzey's can be political (very liberal) but the Baking Club isn't. I posted it at like 3am this morning while I was up in the middle of the night. The new building principal just called me and asked me to delete the post. He said he had received texts and emails from people who were mad about it. . . presumably because they don't agree with the owner Bill Penzey's views. I'm so disgusted. Not with the principal per se but with whatever coworkers threw a fit over it. Um we were selling trial-sized packets of like taco seasoning and ground black pepper. What is political about that? It is freaking food. It isn't like I was selling red MAGA hats or something. So now I have $100 worth of spice packets to try to do something with. IDGAF I am going to charge the Baking Club account to reimburse me for it. I'm not eating that expense. I will personally deliver the box to the principal next week. He can figure out what to do with them all. Can you tell I'm salty about this?
