What Do You Think of Cryogenics?

I have always found this subject fascinating. What if we could be put in freezer can after dying of some un disease only to be later thawed out and brought back to life to live a healthy disease-free time on Earth? It still seems pretty sci-fi and fantasy stuff but one day it could happen.
It is used in cryosurgery today to kill diseased tissue, tumors and cells.
Cryonics Institute offers the service of freezing humans and pets in liquid nitrogen. On Wikipedia it says: "The cost for cryopreservation is less than $30,000 but the total costs including logistics might add up to more than $100,000. "
What do you think? Pro or con? I would love to come back again several decades down the road. I am thinking a very good story could be about just that. Hmm.

To me I consider that against religion, When we die our souls are set free to live antoher kind of life and freezing like this captures the soul and holds it in place ai cannot see it,
