How do we deal with people who always tend to misunderstand everything we do?
Even when we try to help them or do something good for them, they misunderstand our intentions and create chaos out of it. Even when we genuinely explain our intentions, they refuse to listen because they have already formed an interpretation without knowing whether it's true or not.
Seriously, I am not sure what's wrong with them. If we do something, they say something about it; if we remain calm, they start criticizing us. I'm not sure how to be or behave around such people. With them, our real selves seem to become distant, and we start becoming someone we're not.

Aye but To I you are probably easy enough to understand as you most likely explain what you are doing as you go along, and saying why....

if they are clsoe to you, don't offer your help anymore and talk about basic things, like weather and if they are not that close to you,try to avoid them. there is no point in draining your energy.

Then stop and just pray that they will be fine.
You can't help people who don't want help, and its hard to talk with negative people.
Most of the time its their bad side and attitude and there is nothing we can do about that.

I think sometimes there’s really nothing you can do when someone has already decided what your intentions are. You can explain yourself, but it’s not your job to make someone understand you, especially if they’ve already made up their mind and refuse to listen. At some point, you just have to stop trying so hard to prove yourself. Stay genuine, you do you. Their misunderstanding doesn’t have to change who you are just because they refuse to see us for who we really are.

I must admit I have never really had that problem
Probably because i am uncomplicated and quite easy to comprehend
If you have people (plural) who always tend to misunderstand everything you do
The problem is t their problem, it's probably your problem

They probably did not want help. What they were doing is kind of coming after you. I have seen it a few times in my life. You lucky because like they say its a warning shot, Most will never back that threat up, but its very unsettling. Its not a misunderstanding they know.
