100 Rupiah

It a coin of 100 rupiah. Legally it is still used for transaction but nowadays no single item in the store can be purchased by this coin even a single small candy. When i was at 1-2 primary school it was my daily pocket money for school. I could buy 4 snacks at the time. It was about 35 years ago.

@nawala123 Pennies haven’t been used in bus fare for some time, but we still use them when paying for things with cash. Unfortunately, it now costs more to make an actual penny than what they are worth so they no longer make them as of this year.

Australia has got rid of the 1c and 2c coins. I doubt you could buy anything for 5c either.
