This is Sadie, and we think she is ten or eleven. I adopted her five years ago, and boy did I adopt an attitude! I’ve had several other chihuahuas, and they were sweet and calm. I used to get compliments on them all the time. Sadie was a little devil! Of course, the others I had raised from puppies, and she had had a life before me. I remember when I would pet her, she would bite me or growl. When I walked her (on a leash) people would do a wide berth around me because Sadie would growl at them. Within six months, she was coming up to me to rest her head on my shoulder. She’d get under my blanket at night to sleep, and when she would get petted, her tail would crazily wag. My neighbors couldn’t believe the difference! They started coming up to ask if I had gotten a new dog! She’s a sweetie. And all she needed was a little love and patience. Introduce me to your babies!
