Delivered on the 21st. I opened the box that evening and the first thing I checked was the engraved words in French.
This iPad is very special to me for reasons that I wish to keep to myself.
I'm just glad that Apple didn't disappoint me. I thought they didn't do the engraving because they sent the parcel directly from Singapore and not from China where the factory was supposed to be.
The engraving is free only when you order online and not from an Apple store.

@toniganzon .......so far a t-shirt saying I'm easy to please and then pics of Nintendo device, a cat and cookies. Fits him well. I will see what else I may find.

Yeah this is the very first Apple gadget I owned that is personalized. My previous iPads didn't have it. My Apple Watch was bought online too but I forgot the engraving.
