I Have Canceled My Subscription to Netflx

After watching the utter vulgarity and vileness of one of Netflix shows, I decided to cancel my subscription
Now another option would have been to just not watch the offensive programs. But the complication with that is that Netflix has developed a cookie cutter approach or formula to their shows that always include vulgarity, homosexuality, and appalling assorted other things just for shock value.
I refuse to support their sordid skew of things and the warping of minds
Will my cancelation hurt Netflix at all? Of course not but I will feel better by not supporting them
Have you ever taken a stand like this against something that you just found inappropriate?

I quit going to Target after their renewed dedication to supporting the transgender push in their stores and their support of biological men in women’s sports. Their business suffered because of the nationwide boycott, and as a result, they got rid of their DEI division last year. I don’t really care though. I’m going to have to see lasting change before they get my business again.
Good for you for canceling something that caters so often to filth.

@ambiepam It irks me when supermarkets take up a cause (which they only do as a marketing tool) and the unstated but unmistakeable message is that if you shop there then you support that cause too. Supermarkets and other stores are there to sell potatoes, not preach sermons, and they should stick to their job.

What I have seen is when you watch one they then suggest others from that. So when you watched the one you told them you like that stuff.

@looeyville I fear for young people watching these things and picking up that all the perversity is normal. But so long as we keep on paying they’ll keep on pushing the boundaries and society sinks further into the swamp.

Just wouldn't watch it if I didn't like the content.
If it's on after children should be in bed, and it's cert 18 and we get all the warnings about content and we are fully informed then it's fine by me
I can either watch it not watch
I'm not against vulgarity as real life can be vulgar.
What I would say is that it could well be that next week something comes on Netflix that for you is a viewing must......
And you won't see it
And no it's not an eyesight......

I've canceled subscriptions before too when the content just wasn't lining up with what I wanted to watch anymore. Sometimes you just gotta cut it loose and save the money for something else. Not a big deal in the grand scheme but it felt good to make the call.
