Health Journey 2026 - Day 52

Hello everyone, how are you doing? I thought I would share how I did on day 52. I am getting closer to the 2 month mark. I'll do a 2nd month review of everything at that point probably and see if more has improved since the first month. I did see a new low on the scale. Hopefully I'll lose more, or at least stick to that number for when I weigh in tomorrow. Blood sugars have been not as great today. I did see a peak of at least the 140s, but most of the day it's been under 110. What I ate today: Meal 1 - sausage patty and a cheese stick (just wanted a bit to eat before my son's dentist appointment) Meal 2 - About 4.5 oz flank steak with some butter Meal 3 - smashed burger patty, 2 slices of cheese snack - cheese stick Macros -- 1,372 calories, 2 carbs, 113 fat, 86 protein I kept the numbers about where they should be, but I did have quite a lot of cheese today. I know if the scale goes up tomorrow that is probably why. Usually I try to limit the cheese. At least it was cheese without the bad ingredients. I guess we will see what happens tomorrow!

I used to love cheese. I’m not sure why I don’t anymore.

Got tired of it? Some can have strong tastes/smells. Cheese is not always a favorite of mine either. But it helps me get down certain meats lol

Nice work hitting a new low, that's exciting for day 52! Cheese heavy days happen, you still kept carbs crazy low so I wouldn't stress it too much. Fingers crossed the scale cooperates tomorrow.

Yes especially because I did not expect it. Well I had like 5 oz (or servings?) which is quite a bit lol. But yes...the cheese all was about zero carbs, they may have a little but not enough for them to put it on the label. Thanks, I hope it will

I have not had flank steak in a long time. Your meals sound really good.

This is the first time I tried it because I never usually find it. Was expensive for the amount we got. You've enjoyed it? The food was good, except wasn't a fan of the sausage lol
