Received my Ballot

A few days ago I received my absentee ballot for the upcoming November election. I’ve looked over all the candidates, and checked the appropriate boxes, but one of the two state questions is going to require a little more research on my part. Usually, it’s pretty self-explanatory, but one of them requires a little more study this time.
Hopefully, you all vote in your elections. I signed up for absentee voting after killing my back (due to car accident) waiting in line during EARLY voting about ten years ago. Also, this way I never miss an election. There was a time where I kept missing the mayoral race, and now I don’t miss that either. Being on disability, they have you submit your vote a bit different than if you were just going to be out of town for the election and submitted it absentee.
Here’s to voting, no matter which clown/politician you choose!

Good for you getting it done early, that state question research can be a real headache sometimes. Absentee voting sounds like it was a smart move after everything with your back, no need to stand in line for hours. Glad you found a system that works so you never miss the ones that matter to you.

Glad you don't have to stand around waiting any more. The idea of early voting is anathema to us over here. We do have the option of postal votes but other than that everyone just goes to the polling station on the day and most of the time you can just walk straight in.

I’ve never missed voting an election since I was 18 years old. I do have a brother-in-law and his wife, however, that have never voted in their entire lives and they’re in their 50s.

i will vote on the actual election day. Election Day here is usually pleasantly warm here by the time I go in the afternoon, even though it is November. Alot of people here have done early voting though..it even made the news. I have he feeling it is going to be a real fight..but unfortunately, this county usually goes for the other party. Most of them are nuts.They don't seem to get the connection between voting for their party means status quo.
