Half-off a month of tanning

I thought I wrote about this yesterday but apparently not. I like to go tanning from fall to spring because, well, I look better with a tan but I also believe the UV light helps to combat my seasonal affective disorder (SAD--winter depression). The salon I use is just around the corner from work so I can go there, do a 12 minute level 3 session, and get back in time for my next class.
I apparently went to high school with the owner of the place. I have no memory of that so we clearly ran in different circles. She is a very positive and friendly person so I enjoy my interactions with her. I wound up with her # a couple of years ago back when Chantal was doing my hair because she wanted to do a tinsel pop-up before proms.
I'm not one to blow up anyone's phone (except my ex and @AmbiePam with Benito videos) so I don't abuse the fact that she shared her # with me. Yesterday I saw a FB reel or thread or whatever they are called that said something like "be kind to your friends who like to be tan. We are not okay."
She responded with a laugh emoji and asked where I've been. I said "gurrrrrrrl its been summer! I'll see you soon enough!" She said that she'd put a note on my account to give me a month at half-price as a "welcome back". A month of unlimited level 3 is $125 so that discount isn't insignificant.
She is such a nice person and it is good to see that my 20+ years of patronage is appreciated. I'll get back there next week.

Sounds like you’re going to keep that poolside tan all winter long. I switched to “sunlight” bulbs in the house last year and I think it’s improved things for me with SAD.
