Got up..didn't take shower as I couldn't eat breakfast or have my coffee like I like it, so I got some water, got dressed and went to the Scan. As soon as I got into the waiting area..SOMEONE had on some kind of perfume or maybe aftershave that just about took my breath. I started coughing and couldn't hardly stop. Went outside and sat there until I could quit coughing. Went back in and went to the bathroom and got some tissue and put it in front of my nose. Got signed in, and the guy who did the scan was sooo nice. Hit my vein didn't hardly feel it. Got my scan and when I got up...I was dizzy as hell. I did get to the chair beside the machine, but could not walk strait. He went and got me a wheel chair and rolled me out to my van. Asked me if I was okay, and I told him once I sit down inside, I will be fine. I didn't tell him that years ago, I had driven in worse shape than that. Made it home. Picked up Tom and took him to the VA clinic to get blood work done for his Heart doctor. They would not do it. Told him to find a place in town that took the VA insurance and they would pay them to take his tests. Can you believe that? He was right there at the Lab at the VA, and they would rather PAY a Lab somewhere else. Geez. Tom was trying to save them some money, but I guess that just doesn't make sense to them. Anyway he was so ticked off, we ended up going to the Post. My first $20 I put in the pull tab, I won $100. I had a hamburger as it was Friday Burger Day. Paid for my burger and Tom's Jack Daniels, and I had 5 $1 bills left out of the $100. I went and played the .50 tickets. Won another $100 and we left. So now I have money for Trivia day! YAAAY!
