I didn't know that I had a liver problem until I did a blood test. I had gained a bit of weight and didn't know why because I didn't overeat, and I don't drink beer . . . So the liver emzymes were up. I changed my diet completely! Whole wheat bread and noodles, lots of vegetable, a bit of meat, salmon, tuna no snacks, no fast food, 1 cup of coffee and 1 cup of tea a day. So I went back and had another blood test, liver is fine now, The doctor said to stay on the diet. So for now, no cakes or cookies. . The only way to know about this is to do a blood test every 6 months. So I put it in my google calendar. What about you? Go do a blood test. NOW

I actually had a liver biopsy in my early twenties when my liver enzymes were up, and some weird things were happening. Turns out I have the same liver disease my late mom did (it’s hereditary). So I continue to watch what I eat to make sure it doesn’t get worse. It’s not fixable, but it’s controllable. I’m so glad you got your enzymes checked. That’s a big deal to get them back to normal. And, it’s so good to see you!

Good for you. I've had a series of blood tests recently but not because of ill-health. I'm doing well so far.

That's a great turnaround, good on you for sticking with the diet changes. Regular blood tests are so underrated, most people just wait till something feels wrong. Adding it to the calendar is smart, gonna steal that idea honestly.
