If You Still Went Out Tricker Treating, What Costume Would You Wear?

I love the spiritual aspect of Halloween and am not really interested in the tick or the treating. I am into the ghoulies, ghosties and such. But if I were to go out on this bad night to be out, I would probably choose something where I could really get into the part. That of a witch. All green faced and pointy hatted. Have to have a huge mole somewhere in the face too. I have the Wiccan gowns so have that already.
What/Who would you go as? Edgar Allen Poe would be interesting.

We don't do that stuff here
The shops have a wee section for kids
The parents send them out begging for money in the guise of trick or treat
