Can't Stand Apps!!!

My phone is having issues with data usage!
Why?! 
Because of all these apps on my phone among other things. I love taking pictures and sharing them with others. But their suggesting I backup &/or delete my pics, too. So now I'm having issues being able to use my "Smartphone" for basic Google search, etc.
I travel a lot. So I need Google maps to find different locations when I drive. Couldn't even do that! So..
I deleted all my extra social media platform apps, games and whatever else I could delete to be able to use data on my phone. I have my main cell phone for mostly calls only and for basic Google search. I have another phone for my other apps. I believe that the only thing you need to keep on your main cell phone are Google apps (Gmail and maps) and YouTube. Everything else is extra in my opinion. That's what the computer &/or tablets are for.
Anybody else have data issues on their phone?

I don't want to put my pics on the cloud. I like easy access to my stuff

@TishaMears - Same as you, when I am not at home I need my smartphone to check the maps or call friends if I get lost.

@TishaMears - It would be a serious problem should I be unable to access Internet on my phone. I transferred all the pictures from my phone to my computer and deleted on the phone to free space.

So you understand the frustration of not having access to the Internet on my phone. It's a little better now since I deleted all the unnecessary apps. But I still have many pictures and videos taking up space. I've got to upgrade my phone soon

Are you talking of the data as in the internet connection or the memory of your phone?

@TishaMears You have a subscription with your telecom right? You should probably go for an unlimited data then. It's not a phone issue but a data subscription one.

I have a prepaid plan. Unlimited data isn't in my budget. I mostly use data for my phone from Wi-Fi at home and wherever else it's available. So I pay attention to my usage. It's not that. The phone specifically stated that due to my low amount of storage that certain things won't be available for use

Understood. Done that. It's been better. But sometimes I would still have Internet connection issues with my phone outside of using my home Wi-Fi

My phone has 256GB storage
I believe you only need one cell phone
And because of the fact my phone does everything I don't need a pc or a tablet
Data usage is an entirely different thing than what you are describing

You have a lot more storage space than I do. I know that I'm going to have to upgrade my phone soon. For my budget, I only have a pre-paid plan with a low cost phone from Walmart.
I do a lot of my work on my phone. So I need many ways to have access to do my workload. I like my tablet the best. But when I'm on the go sometimes I choose to only bring my phone
