I understand why AI can be scary

It's 8am and I'm still in bed. Been catching up on mylot for about 30 minutes, replying to messages and checking notifications. It's cool outside, about 24 degrees Celsius. Low is 22 and the high will hit around 30. I'll probably be indoors for a while longer, then check on my neighbor and get a proper update on the boy who was taken to the hospital. Yeah, I saw that post about AI pictures being 'soul-stealing'. It really sounds off. I get why it scares my mum though. I understand why my mum wants me to read that post.. AI is confusing if you don't know how it works. But, yeah, the claim's not true. These apps don't touch anything spiritual, they're just software running on servers. No souls, no magic, it's code and math. I will just tell my mum I'll be careful cos no explanation can change her mind So, for today, work at 4, maybe a late shift till 9:30pm. One customer can make a difference. I sent a message to a friend yesterday.. Hoping she replies. Wishing everyone a calm, productive day.
