We can grow them here
At my old house we had a pear tree
Never did have a Partridge in it

I like pears better than apples. We always have pears in the fridge. Pears don't grow here too.

I don't know how much pears are grown in India, but I'm not a fan of pears. I eat them from time to time, when I don't have mangoes, bananas or oranges.

Those mangoe banana and orange are well grown in Indonesia too and supposed as local fruit even mango and oranges are not indigenious. Btw mango came to Indonesia before the arrival of European people
