Good morning Sept. 27

Some sad news this morning..friend told me his sister in law has died. She had an advanced cancer. Anyway, I am going to send some flowers for him, as he would be clueless as to how to proceed. I also told him I would drive him to have lunch with his brother. He lives a few hours from him and maybe more like 5 from me, but we will work it out. Maybe he could meet us half way, there is a big nice shopping center on the other side of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge that I haven't been to since I lived in the area. That would be a good place to meet, or if brother in law isn't up to it, we could go there. It would be nice for friend to see his nephews.

Sorry to hear about your friend losing his sister in law, that's really hard news. Sounds like you're being a good friend though, sending flowers and driving him to see his brother means a lot more than people realize. Hope the meet up works out and he gets some good time with his nephews.

Yeah, well the nephews are a long shot, but it would nice for him to spend some time with his brother. Maybe they could go fishing sometime too. My son could probably arrange that.

They had a younger brother die when they were kids. His brother told friend that he hasn't felt so bad since that happened. I think he and the wife were married for 50 years. They have known each they were teenagers though.

I am sorry for both he and especially his brother. Friend did not need this either though..his spirits are low.
