A halo around the moon / myLot

The moon tonight is a full moon, but what was stroking was this large ring around the moon that looks like a halo. I had to look up online to see what it was and how it was created. It's apparently called a 22 degree halo and is because of ice crystals high up in the atmosphere that so something to the moonlight. Nature and physics are an amazing combo sent they? Have you seen this before? I have seen it a handful of times in the past.

I have only seen it a few times over the years and I looked it up and came across some old sailors sayings about how a halo around the moon could mean rain is coming. Of course that would not be scientific.

Wow that's so cool, i actually never seen a full ring like that before, just heard about it. Nature really do be showing off sometimes with these lil physics tricks lol. Gonna be looking up at the sky more often now fr.

I think I have witnessed something like this before. I just don't know how many times though. It is amazing. I don't know if I took a photo.

That's a great picture It is a nice large ring around the moon right enough Ice crystals, that's amazing I don't think I have ever seen this before Bit ai might have and just not really thought about it
