What is the first thing you cooked?

The first thing I remember cooking regularly all by myself was blueberry pancakes. I had a friend (who has since passed away) who started calling me “Pancake” because of how often I was making—and absolutely destroying—blueberry pancakes during high school. He actually called me **Emo Pancake**. But honestly, that was just the era. Black eyeliner, questionable hair choices, bright colors, MySpace, checkered everything… We really thought we were doing something. What a time to be alive. Anyway, blueberry pancakes were the first thing I remember cooking on my own, and I made them CONSTANTLY. Now I’m curious: **what’s the first thing you remember cooking by yourself?**
