Good Golly Miss Molly - Postage for Packages is Outrageous

Oh my word, I am floored! I had a package to ship to the two Texas girls - just to one of them with stuff inside for both of them. It was one 3-lb package going to Houston. No special insurance, no extra expedited fees, nothing. I asked for the cheapest/slowest delivery option available. Can you guess how much that package cost me to mail? I was thinking in the neighborhood of $7-11. NOPE! $27.17!!!!! OMG! No wonder people use Amazon to direct-ship gifts to their friends. That was ridiculous! And then I bought a roll of stamps. $94.00!!!! I usually only buy a sheet at a time so I didn't realize a roll was going to be so expensive. Whew! Lesson learned.

It is a good thing that you got it in the mail now! Another increase hits on October 5th for holiday shipping increase. Crazy!

Wow that is crazy, shipping prices keep going up and nobody warns you. $27 for one 3 lb box would shock me too. Hope the girls love whatever was inside at least.
