Good days.

I definitely enjoy more good days than bad, and am overflowing with gratitude for it. Bad days happen, but there’s always the promise of help to get through them, and the sure and certain hope of a future where there is “no more death or mourning or crying or pain”.
So today is a good day because:
I woke
I focused
I showered etc
I noted that I have lost 4 cm off my waist since June
I breakfasted
I took a brisk walk by the sea
I bought groceries
I put on a load of washing and now it’s in the dryer
I consulted my financial spreadsheet and was pleased again at my newfound ability to organise money and exercise spending restraint
I consulted also my frequent flyer app and smiled to see 4250 new points added last night
And I have just consulted my watch and it’s not yet noon.
This is definitely one of my better days.
Yours?

@Wrexxo A slow morning with a warm cup of tea sounds like a pretty good start too. And I agree, keeping spending under control is not always easy, so it is nice when you can see the progress.

Well, it’s only 5:21am, but so far I did remember to take one of my medications 30 minutes before I ate (I don’t usually), I found a Christmas candle I can get for free, and my favorite morning sports show started their show off talking about the best football game I’ve seen in years that aired last night. It will be a good day.

@AmbiePam Finding something you can get for free is always a nice way to start the day! And it sounds like the football result has given you another reason to look forward to the morning. Definitely sounds like a good day is already taking shape.

@xFiacre That certainly sounds like a very good day already, and it is impressive how much you have managed to get done before noon. The walk by the sea and seeing those extra frequent flyer points must have been especially satisfying. Sometimes it is the simple things adding up that make a day feel really good.

You've done really well so far. Hope the afternoon is equally as enjoyable and productive.
