Hello there, how are you all doing? Another day of this journey has come to an end. It's almost another month done as well. How did I do today? Well first of all my blood sugars stayed pretty stable, same as they have bee lately. I think I got up to the 130s even today. It finally lowered probably closer to 3 PM. Not sure why that is happening. Maybe I need to stick to the much higher fat - I may try that next week. Anyways -- what did I eat today? Meal 1 - 2 eggs and 3 and a half slices of bacon (got full) Meal 2 - Made a chuck roast and had about 6 oz, with some butter Snack - 2 cheese sticks and a bit more butter Macros -- 1,298 calories, 0 carbs*, 107 fat, 78 protein I put the mark by the carbs because I did add some Worcestershire sauce to my pot roast and that does add a bit of carbs, but I didn't measure how much. I think the macros were pretty good, protein and fat were close to my goals (120 fat and 80 protein). Not sure what will be on the menu tomorrow. That's one of the issues I have with the diet lol. Well that and actually cooking, and the cleanup. Wouldn't you agree?

Ugh, the cleanup. Isn’t that why women have husbands?

Clean up is the worst, next to standing up cooking for hours. Oh is that what they are supposed to be for? LOL

@MommyOfEli2013 Yes, girl! Now, I’m not married so I haven’t tested the theory, but I look forward to trying it.

@AmbiePam Haha, well I do a lot but my husband helps when he cans. Even Eli helps with some cleaning, a lot of the time it is just taking out the garbage, since I do a lot of that cleaning while he is in school lol. And well I hope it goes well when you try it!

Pretty much the same MEDS I've decided to venture into. No seed oils, very low carbs... :-)

That is good to hear. It's the proper human diet

Sounds like you're doing really well staying consistent with it. Stable numbers for that long is a good sign, and your macros look close to your goals. And yes the cooking and cleanup part is the worst, I would agree with you on that lol.

Yes that is true, though it does get frustrating sometimes because meat can get old after a while. Those definitely are the worst lol
