My favorite little store had a great sale begin today. They literally sell everything from clothing, shoes, cleaning items, groceries and homewares. They are a very small department store. They have nice little 1.5kg mini football hams. Just enough for the 2 of us to tie us over for a couple of weeks with lots of leftovers for sandwiches. These little smokehouse hams rarely go on sale, so when I mentioned it to my husband, he offered to stop and get us some. I was pleased that he picked up 4 of them. It is nice to have them in the deep freezer with the cold weather coming. What do you like to keep extra of on hand these days?

I seem to have multiple jars of peanut butter. The little hams sound tasty and delicious.

Yes, they are just about 3 1/4 pounds each, so nice for the two of us, and a week of leftovers.

Yeah, it is great when these go on sale, time to stock up the deep freezer, which we did. The day will come when it is too cold or wet or snowy to want to go out shopping, now is the time to get out.

That sounds so good. I really don’t normally stock up on things. I guess I have a lot of spaghetti sauce, and it comes in handy. However, I don’t buy a lot of meat because it is so expensive right now.

Just what I get monthly in groceries and often two of anything I can store in the fridge, I do not like to make a fuss with my meals but have to ahve some canned chili on hand, Will have to check out what hams Walmart has,

I keep extra bottles of Italian tomato sauce and olive oils. That ham you mentioned sounds delicious.

Love that he grabbed four, that's a good haul for a ham that rarely goes on sale. I always keep extra rice and canned tomatoes around, they save me so many times when I don't feel like shopping. Enjoy those sandwiches with the cold weather coming.

I try to keep plenty of frozen veggies and fruits as well as some chicken sausages I get at Costco in my freezer, the trouble is that I'm always trying to make sure to buy after I've gotten the current statements.
