I mentioned on here awhile back that I did not like the store clerk possibly manager at the Dollar General that is between here and Food Lion. She was a smart aleck and seemed to think I should do her job for her. Consequently, I only went in there, when I was pretty sure she wasn't working. Well, Food Lion didn't have corn bread mix in there...really?? That is the thing about them...they are always running out of things..no angel food cake either, but I digress. I made a pitstop at the Dollar General, and a hopeful sign I saw someone else stocking. She helped me out, they had it..awesome..and when I went to the register she checked me out and I asked about the enemy..She said she was no longer working there, hadn't been since August, and last she had heard she was working at Geico..much better job! So, win/win..and now I don't have to hate going in there.

We have two Dollar General stores nearby. One is absolutely perfect, neat, clean, organized, and I like to go there. The other one is so cluttered and so over-filled with carts of stock to put on shelves, kiosks and cardboard displays, etc. that a person can barely move.Yes, I try to go to the clean one!

All the ones in this immediate area are nice..but I do know of one that is a mess, it at least it was last time I was in there

@snowy22315 The one I spoke of has been reported to code enforcement and OSHA several times for not having isles passable. Then they close for a few days to get it in order, open back up, and then do it again. Crazy.

Wait until Geico starts getting complaints about customer service or dissatisfaction runs through the office with her as a coworker. People like that eventually show their true colors. But I feel good for you!

Thanks! Well I guess they liked her at DG, she got the job..but anyway, she isn't my problem any more. That is not the regular DG that I shop in, but it does come in handy like today..when I needed something FL didn't have, or I just have to stop for one thing. Also, they often have catnip in stock there.

Hopefully she's happier in her new job. Not many people actually working retail or food service, but often that's the only job you can get.
