Power is out

Came home from my mom's and the power is out.
Her house, 5 mins away, was not out of power when we left.
I'm hoping it will come back on soon, for one it's dark in here.
Thankfully I have 4g on my phone and 56 percent battery.
It's not etc storming out, so no clue why it's out.

It was out for at least 5 hours. I know some deal with way worse. But it was still very frustrating

We had a tree fall in our lines once on a clear, sunny day, and our power went out. I never understood that unless someone hit a tree and knocked it into the lines. Which is hard to do with a big tree.
Hopefully, you get your power back soon. No electricity is really annoying.

Something might've hit a transformer. I doubt it's anything serious. I once lived in a place where we lost power because someone felt it necessary to drive their car into a power pole.

Power outages remind how fragile we are and dependent on electricity and that desperate need to update and increase it in this tech world needing more and more.
