Yep, I’m Working Today…

And I’m okay with that. In fact, I’m halfway done, proofreading and editing excluded. I received a writing order on a different platform that’s due tomorrow evening (they sent it Thursday evening; I just didn’t have time to work on it yesterday). I’m working on it at the coffee shop, which doesn’t even close for another few hours. Other than this post, I’m trying to stay focused. I really want to make a good impression on this client. I also want to finish it today because I’m NOT willing to give up my Sunday. That’s MY day to slow down, relax, and just exist. No writing, no errands, no go, go, go. Just lounging. So, if I don’t finish this order within the next few hours, I’ll work on it at home. However, I really can’t imagine still working on this order by 6 pm or so. It’s a little repetitive, but it’s not difficult. Overall, I’m enjoying it. I don’t have any plans for when I get home. Quite frankly, I don’t need any plans, and I don’t care if it is Saturday. Between the coffee shop and Walmart, I was out almost all day yesterday, and I’m out today. Plus, it’s been raining off and on since last night. I’m perfectly fine with starting my usual slow Sunday on a Saturday evening lol. I bought some hot chocolate and Cool Whip, though. I also need to watch the next three episodes of American Horror Story 13, so that MIGHT be on my agenda. :) We did our annual Book and Drink Swap drawing today. It’s basically a Secret Santa, but we exchange books and beverages. You can add more to your person’s gift, or you can just stick with the book and drink. My person wants several low-priced books, so I’m probably getting her more than one. I’ll take a good look at her list when I get home. I have her name and Elfster profile link saved on the notepad on my phone. It’s not until mid-November, so I can order the stuff as I go. I still need to get my sisters’ belated birthday gifts, too. Alrighty, I’m going to get back to work. I have to write about ten products, and I’m about to start seven after I post this, so I don’t want to lose my focus now. You all enjoy the rest of your day, stay safe, and take care. :) Photo Credit: Pixabay.
