Today was a day filled with exploring and admiring. The “exploring” dealt with locations of some of the worst coal mining disasters in history, including America’s all-time worst disaster. But I’ll take you there later. The admiring was for the view. West Virginia is a lovely state. It’s exceptionally beautiful in the autumn. Things are starting to get color here, and wow, did it make the trip great! There’s more to explore, and I’ll be back at it tomorrow. Meanwhile, good night…and enjoy this view.

I love the picture. I’m glad you had a good time. It must be even prettier in person.

This is a good picture. I always thought that being a miner is the worst job in the world.

West Virginia is very pretty and I kind of get the way they are. If I lived there would be exploring all those woods. It is what I did as a kid in Missouri. The best and craziest time is to do it during winter when the water is frozen. That way not even a creek stops you, just walk over the ice. I could probably get in real trouble with how neat the West Virginia landscape is.

Is the Bee Gees song about that one? I was once stationed with a guy from West Virginia. Very small county. When he talked about it it was like listening to a completely different world.

West Virginia in autumn sounds beautiful, I can only imagine the colors. The coal mining history must be heavy to see in person, I am curious about the places you visited. Enjoy the rest of your trip and safe travels tomorrow.
