Weekend at the beach

One of the things we miss about the move is that we are now inland and the closest coastline for beaches is about 3 hours away.
We drove 3 hours to get to a beach stay and spent hours on the beach this weekend. While the beach did have a fair crowd, we managed to get some beach time on Sunday morning without anyone at the beach!
I missed the sunrise at the beach though, which was a let down - tired and overslept.
I miss visiting beaches!

I miss the Marines because of that every where you stationed is close to the beach always. They are amphibious creatures by nature.
I live about 70 miles from Huntington beach, California but barely visit because to expensive.
It is true, life things we take for granted if it is not right there, we will not use it.

There is always the excitement of planning a beach trip. I can't really relate as I haven't been to a beach since 1977

Going to the beach is absolutely one of my very favourite things to do. Luckily we have a caravan just a two minute walk from a beach ….i truly love it there.

I live near the ocean and rarely even see the beach.
