Last weekend Andrea and I met up with his old colleague from Milano to try out the World #1 Pizzeria in 2026 and Europe’s #1 Pizzeria in 2024 and it did not disappoint! It was absolutely delightful! We ordered Ricordi d’infanzia which won best pizza in the world 2025 by 50 Top Pizza. It had slow-cooked beef Ragu, parmigiano fondue, lots of grated parmigiano, basil, and evo oil. Such a filling and remarkable meal! We were lucky to have a booking as the place has a queue. I think all of London wants to try the best pizza! Although it is not in Italy it is made by an Italian chef.

Yes it is quite indulgent! But surprisingly light and none greasy. I am trying to upload a photo but keep failing.

It absolutely was! It made me full but just the right amount of full. And it felt really fresh and healthy. I normally wouldn’t queue up for food but for this one yes I will too

That pizza sounds unreal, slow cooked beef ragu on pizza is something I need to try. Lucky you got a booking, I heard those queues can be crazy. Did it live up to the hype, or was it even better than you thought?

I would personally say it lived up to the hype. Usually with Ragu it tends to be too greasy but this one was just perfect. And considering all the ingredients it does not make me too over full just the right amount of fullness.”Molto buono”!
