Do you peel your Apple?

If you peel an apple before eating it, the flesh oxidizes more quickly. It is better to eat it with the skin on so you absorb more nutrients; just make sure to wash the apple thoroughly to remove any pesticide residue. Furthermore, eating the skin gives your teeth and jaw more of a workout during chewing compared to eating a peeled apple. Many people in the current generation suffer from impacted teeth because their jaws don't get enough exercise from chewing hard foods; from a young age, they have mostly eaten soft foods.

Yes, I peel, we have been warned to stop eating the peel, it's full of chemicals, no matter how much you wash the apple.

@nawala123 - Yes, also considering that those on the shelves are "waxed" to make them last longer.

It's been a long time since I ate an apple, I'm now careful about taking care of my teeth because acidic substances or oily foods can also cause teeth to fall out quickly.

I don't peel. Just slice it off in pieces.
