Do you still have cable?

Ever since streaming services have taken over our viewing choices, cable has become less and less popular. At least as far as I am concerned. We got rid of cable years ago. It was costing us $300 a month. It wasn’t worth it. We have Disney/Hulu, Paramount and Netflix currently and I still pay under $100 for all of those. Paramount actually comes free with my Walmart Plus subscription. We rotate through a couple others too. Sometimes we pay for Amazon Prime or one of the others and binge a show and then pause the subscription again. I love that we can do that. So are you team cable or team streaming? Do you still have cable, or dish tv?

We got rid of our cable a long time ago as well. There were so many channels we weren't watching and we started using streaming services more and more. So it just made sense to cut the cable.

I am so glad I got rid of cable, and I never would have if you hadn’t told me Hulu Live had Redzone. I was holding on to cable simply because of Redzone. So now I have Hulu Live with Hulu/Disney+, Prime Video through Amazon Prime which I overall get half price, and Paramount+ through Walmart+ I also get half price. In addition, my childhood best friend gave me her Netflix password, but even though I watched a football game on it once, I don’t feel comfortable using it more than that. I don’t want to take advantage.

I’ve told you that anything we have you’re more than welcome to use as well. And I mean it. I’m glad I could help. The cable bill is such an unnecessary expense.

@thislittlepennyearns You were so nice about it, but I didn’t want to take advantage of you either. But I appreciate it!

We currently have YouTube TV for $85 a month, and then we have Hulu, Prime and Netflix.
