Do you know where your name came from?

My father named me after a queen. But he told me, he also named me after my grandfather (female version). Most of the time, he would tell friends I was named after a queen. My sister was named after a character in a book, Gone with the Wind, which was also a movie. And because she was so red when she was born.

My father called me Anna just because it was a very common Italian name that he liked.

@toniganzon - My father told me many times how much he wanted a girls and not a boy as first child. He was so excited that he was the one to pick up my name.

@toniganzon Susan..I like the name Susan but not Sue. Suzie is OK I guess. I would have preferred being called Susan..bit more gravitas.
