It's 10:39pm..The temperature was 28 degrees Celsius earlier but now it's 25 degrees Celsius and I'm currently cooking dinner.
Today was the first day of opening after coming back from Lagos and I'd say it was okay. There was a little bit of sales, which I'm thankful for, and I also managed to knock out some online gigs, which is good.
About the job at I talked about,, I talked to the guy yesterday and he said he hasn't seen any of the company guys yet. So he said he'll get back to me if anything comes up. I'm just hoping something good comes of it.
And then there's the situation with a friend of mine who I told you just got a job. Well, it turns out the job is not coming forth after all. Someone connected her to a guy who needed a PA for his new company.
They had a conversation, everything went smoothly, and the guy told her she had the job and that he'd call her to resume. But after a week, there was still nothing. He didn't call her, didn't tell her when to resume. Basically just disappeared.
She texted him and called him, but he didn't pick up. And she feels so depressed because of it. I feel sad too because I genuinely thought she'd started the job already.
I told her to get in touch with the person who connected her to the guy because maybe we can find out what's actually happening. We never know. Maybe the guy is going through something, or he's organizing things for the new company, or dealing with something we don't know about. I mean, I just really hope it's not what I'm thinking. I still believe there's some hope, so let's see how it goes.
That's where I'm going to stop for now. Hope everyone is having a wonderful time.
