What’s the best toy ever created?

This is an easy one for me to answer – a ball. And I’m not sure that it was even really ‘created’; in the first place people used things that were already pretty much spherical such as a pig’s bladder. Recently I was at a student ‘fair’ where the various student clubs and societies can advertise their presence to attract new members from the new intake of students. And I was impressed by the number of sports involving a ball! Football American football Rugby Table football (aka foosball) Tennis Real tennis Table tennis Padel Pickleball Squash Korfball Handball Floorball (never heard of this one before!) Croquet Golf Netball Basketball Volleyball Bowling Pool Snooker Cricket Polo Water polo Lacrosse Hockey How many of these have you heard of? Or played? And how many more do you know of?
