Hey, you know after being entertained by vampires, great big monsters, and werewolves I am not really afraid of much anymore. However, one thing still puzzles me: how in the world did a creature get into and out of the Black Lagoon? “The Creature from the Black Lagoon” came out in 1954 and is a science-fiction horror film. The story tells about scientists that go on an expedition to the Amazon rainforest. While in the rainforest they discover an amphibious humanoid known as the Gill-man. The film is noted for its underwater photography. For those as confused as I am, an amphibious humanoid is a fictional or mythological creature that has the characteristics of both humans and amphibians and can live in either aquatic or terrestrial environments. So these scientists in the movie have various confrontations with the Gill-man. To make things even scarier, the Gill-man blocks the entrance to the lagoon with logs to prevent the team's escape

I have actually seen this, years ago, on a channel that showed really old movies. It was kind of interesting when viewed through the prism of what they were actually capable of back then.

Ha, I always wondered the same thing about how that creature got in and out of the lagoon. The logs blocking the entrance is such a smart move for a monster though. That underwater footage still looks pretty good for 1954.

@JohnRoberts I think he is rather a handsome creature, and I too like to watch it now and then after the other monsters have tired me out,
