I usually don't watch TV in the morning, It's all streaming and local channelsbut I felt like it today. I was watching a show which ended..and then nothing else came on, and I couldn't get the remote to work. There was still the name of the channel up in the corner. I was wondering what? So I rebooted the TV and everything seemed fine. The TV has never acted like that before. I hope it was just a temporary glitch. I have just ordered some mounting rails to put up another smart TV in the bedroom. DId your screen ever go blank for a long period of time, so no discernible reason?

Yes, actually, mind started doing that on and off starting two weeks ago. Not sure what's going on. I have an Amazon Fire Stick hooked up on that one.

This is a Fire TV .but it doesn't use a Fire Stick.

It happens regularly with some of the local channels. It's the signal not the tv

Glitches and weird things happen all the time on both satellite and streaming.
