As I wrote in an earlier post that October is Brest Cancer Awareness month and that this Friday it will be a year that I had my first lumpectomy to remove the cancer. This little girl and her mom (who has been like a daughter to me that I never had, since all my children were boys) have been there for me when I had doctor appointments and surgeries. Of course my husband was with me, but the "daughter" was there for him while I was in surgeries and having my treatments.
I do have grandchildren, but don't get to see them very much and this little girl I can see every day and she just gets me out of my black hole that some times I can get in. I see her and my whole world is just in her!!! So, instead of having a special blanket, or stuffed animal when I was worried about things I could just look at this sweet little face and I knew things were going to be alright!!! (Of course my faith played a major role, but I think it was faith that brought this little girl and her family into my life!!)
Do you have an emotional support something in your life?
~Peace~

How wonderful to have this person with you. I know what you mean by "black hole" . I suffer from major depression and I know how it can drag you down sometimes. My grandson lives her with me and my daughter. My grandson is my support in so many ways. I can actually get needed energy from holding his hand. He is a very special human.
