The 1971 British comedy horror you got to have a bit of humor while being scared to death “The Abominable Dr. Phibes” is an amazingly creative and well-done horror film about Dr. Anton Phibes, played by Vincent Price, who seeks revenge on the medical team who worked on his wife during surgery. Guess who he is still keeping around?
Anyway, the dear doctor decides to make sure these doctors die, being each one visited by the Ten Plagues of Egypt. The doctor is very creative; you will cringe. Phibes is a concert organist and a scholar, believed to have died in a car crash upon learning of his wife's fate. So no one knows he survived. How is he keeping his wife Victoria alive? He has her in a state of suspended animation and believes he can find a way to revive her.
