Update with Surgeon

The surgeon said he would not recommend surgery. Mainly because of other medical problems and the fact once they get in there and the tumor is thicker than anticipated or is in the lymph nodes they might have to take out the whole upper lung which would leave me problems with my breathing. I was really glad he said no surgery as I didn't want to make that decision. I am going with radiation.
I had taken Tom to his CT scan, but the doctor's office messed up the coding on it, and he didn't get the scan. Now they have to resend the order to the VA, then the VA okays it, then he has to go get blood work done the week before the scan, and then the scan. I have to say Techonology in the Medical field SUCKS!
I hope they get the right code for the Ultra sound on his legs.
I made hamburgers for supper.

I wouldn't want surgery either. Hope they get the scans done

I’m glad you won’t have to have surgery. It just sounds so much more involved. But good grief, is it too much to ask for them to get Tom’s testing information done correctly? It would have been nice for you not to have to go through all that again.
Hamburgers sound SO good!

Glad you got a clear answer from the surgeon and that radiation feels right to you. So frustrating about Tom's scan getting messed up, that's a lot of back and forth for something simple. Hope the coding gets fixed fast and everything goes smooth from here.
