Remember me telling you about the young lady in her early 20’s at the stretch place that thinks the world is unfair, that she’ll never be able to buy a house or get a good paying job? She thinks 911 was a hoax. She thinks everything is racist.
She crossed a line with me today.
I’m not a prude and not easily offended but what she said was totally inappropriate.
She started talking about how much she farts. She mentioned how long her farts last in terms of number of seconds. She told me about how loud her farts were. Then she started talking about how much she poops except she use the bad word that starts with an S instead of the word poop. She used the F word a few times.
I have no idea why she thought I would be interested in these things. Likewise, I don’t know who would talk about those things to a complete stranger.
I don’t want to have her stretching me again and getting into conversations with me again in the future. I can’t decide whether to say something to her boss or not.
Don’t you think that what she was saying was just bizarre?

@LooeyVille Oh, girl. Choose someone else, and let the next person complain. Because if you do complain about her, just from what you’ve said, you know why she’s going to say you complained.about her. And she’s not going to say you had a problem with her poop talk.

I am speechless. That's guy talk and women never used to speak that way.

@looeyville You really need to know someone well enough before you give them all the details about you vapor emissions. I went into a barbershop once on the spur of the moment and the woman who kind of cut my hair started defending a woman’s right to an abortion if she wanted it right out of nowhere. No context, just yakking away there like she was telling me about her holidays. And she spent most of the time waving the scissors about as she pontificated about all sorts. I think she was high and I was afraid to say anything with those scissors flying around near my face.

That type of talk/language is not appropriate for a professional setting. I would put money on her boss not having any idea she is talking to customers that way. Just not acceptable.
