Since being at my Moms this week I have got into the habit of having a hot drink at bedtime.
Do you think I am getting old ?
For years and years I used to have a mug full of milk straight from the fridge at bedtime.
I stopped that overtime.
This week I have been feeling the cold a bit so I felt like a hot drink …..I have NEVER had a hot drink at bedtime, not since i was a very young child.
Anyway, this week I have been having a choc a mint.
I have been really enjoying it.
Do you have a drink at bedtime ?

I drink water at bedtime to go with my sleeping pills at night.

I drink water at bedtime, but I’ll admit, there are times I have a bit of a Coke to drink! Shame on me! The caffeine doesn’t bother me either. Although, last night before bed, I did drink a vanilla protein drink. I just wanted a full tummy so I wouldn’t get hungry overnight.

@AmbiePam ….as I’ve said before , I don’t drink water . Vanilla protein drink sounds good and would stop you from getting hungry. I guess that’s why I had a mug of milk ….to keep away the hunger pains.
I won’t judge about the coke …..lol x

Sometimes I do. Most of the time I only have water on my bedside table.

@Traceyjayne When my 99-year-old Mum came to stay with us for a while, we made a push-button bell affair so she could ring us if she needed us. She was only in the next room but she would push the button and only wait a few seconds before pushing it again. I found it really hard not to get annoyed. I liked that she rang but couldn't help but wish that she'd give me time to get there before pushing it again.

@JudyEv We have one of those which we used when my Dad was ill but the battery has gone and I couldn’t get the back of it to see what sort it was. The Mister will have to look later.
I can understand the frustration of the bell going off again before you could get to you Mum.xxx

No , I’m not adding anything as if I sleep too deeply I may not hear Mom if she needs me in the night.
