Hey everyone, how are you all doing?
I didn't share this yesterday because I was exhausted last night.
We had gone on our bigger shopping trip (with my mom) and walked all over 3 stores.
I did have more carbs than I originally planned because I wanted to see if a lot of walking would help. Had I only had the meal it probably would have.
Breakfast -snack size cinnamon roll
Lunch - In n Out - burger & fries (I only had like 1/4 of the container of fries)
Dessert - Boston cream donut & a mystery flavor cookie
Not sure the exact macros except carbs too high and protein way too low
I felt the effects of the carbs after; exhausted, inflammation was back, etc.. oh, and my weight did go up a pound. I know it's just water weight and I expect daily for 4-5 days it will climb.
My mom's birthday is in a few days, so not sure how to manage that. Luckily she wants tacos, so I may get the low carb shells, even though they aren't carnivore it will at least help some. As for the birthday cake, maybe I will make a more carnivore esque cake for me and my husband (his birthday is 2 days later too). I'll still make her a cake though that's not low carb.
Then next month just got to worry about my birthday and Eli's.
But today I'm back on carnivore/low carb. I did have meatballs with some pasta sauce for my first meal because my mom made spaghetti.

Oh really? I thought it was a vacation! lol.
It wasn't really the fries, I didn't have may of those, it was more the sweets.

I believe after a while your body will know what it needs and adjust to what you feed it,

I know it doesn't need carbs, but I want to enjoy them once in a while

Well, you're doing your best and I am sure you'll be fine. You're doing the best for yourself.

Might struggle for the next week or two, and then again in November. But after the new year I'm going to try to be more strict with it (no cheats for 3 months at least).

Yes, and I knew what would happen. Though I was testing the sweets with walking. Next time, just the meal.

Yeah that's true, getting closer to 3'months on this new lifestyle, I know it's not 100 percent but I do my best.
And I'll try to stick with those plans
I hope it'll drop and not go up more, but just used to what usually happens
