Does Your Dentist Give You a "Goodie Bag" or "Care Package" After Your Visits?

The picture shows what my dentist gave me today after my visit. He's always given me a bag with a toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss, but this time the dental hygienist and I had been talking about travel, so she threw in two extra travel-size tubes of toothpaste for me. I like Sensodyne. It's expensive.
Which made me remember a story.
In my 20's I was barely scraping by financially and didn't get to experience any "luxuries" and I had to travel for my job and I would bring home all of the shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, etc. for use at home. Those small things can really add up for a person on a budget.

That's really nice. I never got a goodie bag from my dentist.

All I get from my dentist is a large bill and another appointment booked in six months time. No freebies!

I haven't been to the dentist since I was little. But I did receive a toothbrush.
