Fun Day

Went to the AmVet Post and took the new Trivia game with me to see if we could figure out a way to make it work with the old Trivia Pursuit. But could not figure it out, and the new game is rather complicated to play, so I am taking it back. But still had a good time with all my friends, they all showed up. Didn't win pull tabs. I left and went to Walmart to get corn cobs for the squirrels. Saw a bag of peanuts in the shell and remembered the bag I have is getting low. So I got the peanuts, and a couple of things we needed. Went home and Tom made supper. He made Chicken and Rice. Oh..a friend of ours had an ice making machine and it wasn't working right. He didn't know if he could get it working so he ordered himself another one. He tinkered on the old one and got it working, and asked Tom Thursday if he might want it. Of course he said yes, as we had been thinking about getting one. So the dude brought it to the Post, and loaded it in the van. He explained it all to me, which by the time I got home I forgot most of what he told me. But the instructions are on line. He also gave us some strange looking things that kind of looked like empanadas, and another container of AuGratin Potatoes. So we will have lunch tomorrow. He sometimes brings us stuff he cooks. I love his pork candy!
