Finally left the house !

It’s not really as bad as it sounds. It has been raining for the last two days , I am usually out most days so having to stay in just for a couple of days is tough going ! I was determined to go out today even if it was raining as there were some things that I had to get, and some jobs that I had to do. Pleased to say …I got everything done. This afternoon I’ve a couple of Birthday cards to write so that I can post them tomorrow. I also am going to bake a cake this afternoon so that I can take some round to Moms tomorrow. What are you up to today ?

Lol that's why i hate the rain lol. I also have to do errands and it will rain here too according to the weather reports but weather reporters do also seem to mistakes or the weather changes quickly that it makes the prediction opposite.

Off to shop in a town that actually has some interesting stores..It should be a fun time..as long as the car cooperates, and doesn't give me fits.

I know what you mean. We had left Saturday night, m but hadn’t been able to go outside for four days. Today we were so thrilled to not be stuck inside in the boat. It happened to also be a beautiful day, which made the wait even more sweet.

When I was working I would have to go out whatever the weather …..not many bosses would say ‘ok’ if you rang up and said ‘ I’m not coming in today as it’s raining ‘ ( if they did I would have had many a day off ….ha ha ). Now I can pick and choose when I go out …

Two days stuck inside would drive me a bit crazy too, so good on you for getting out in the rain and finishing everything. A homemade cake for your mom sounds really sweet. I'm just taking it easy today, nothing much planned.
