Let me explain that strange title. On rare occasion there have been those sharing the same name in the entertainment world. Country music hall of famer John Anderson just passed and April was first to post the news and she is a big country music fan. Of course, myLot's resident music expert Four Walls can tell you everything you want to know about Anderson and then some.
I'm not a country fan and only recognize Anderson's name. Don't know his songs or heard any of them. The John Anderson that immediately comes to my mind is prolific character actor John Anderson who died in 1992. He was a tall lean man with a distinctive voice who had 242 film and TV credits including dozens of westerns. If you are a fan of old TV westerns and "The Twilight Zone," you have seen him.
So John Anderson is one person to music and country fans and John Anderson one person to film buffs. And yes this is a silly irrelevant post!

And then I voted for John Anderson for president in 1980, my first year to vote in the presidential election.

It's interesting; often when the names are the same, I get confused on matters and look for the guy with the name and his profession to get the right one. I love country music so will check out John Anderson's music. My dad Eriks Raisters I found on the Internet surprisings because he was a known Latvian poet and writer there is a lot of info on him and what makes me glad that I am mentioned as part of his family and keeping up with his legacy, I mention this because there is also a Latvian footballer named Eriks Raisters,

I didn't know there was someone with the same name in the film industry. I do know of the music person with the same name, and enjoyed some of his music. But then I grew up listening to that kind of music.
