I am rapidly coming to the conclusion I need a new coffeepot

The one I have works, but the burner element seems to be going bad. It won't warm the pot sufficiently when it has been made, but is sitting there waiting to be drunk. It has been years since I bought a new pot. I guess I might get a new one, and relegate this one to an in case of emergency pot.

If it isn't working to your satisfaction then it's time for a new one.

I just ordered one. It is much smaller than I am used to, but I am one person..I don't need a huge pot..At the most I have two here..and it says the pot is big enough for 2 people so that's cool.

same thing happened with mine, ..the warmer plate just stopped keeping the coffee hot after a couple years. ..honestly a new pot is worth it, they aren't that expensive anyway. Keeping the old one as a backup is a good idea, you never know when you'll need it.

Yes, as a matter of fact..I think this particular one I was using in place of a regular pot that failed. It can go back into emergency status now.

I agree to the other comments if it doesn't work the way it used to then it's better to buy a new one but don't throw away the old one you might needed it as a spare (if it works well again).

I don’t drink coffee; however, I am aware that it is one of the major elements of life. Hope you get a good new one soon!

One is on the way. I hope I like it, smaller than what I am used to.

Not really a treat, just a matter of functionality.

We have a single-cup Keurig so we only brew one fresh cup at a time. We don't drink much coffee.

I had a Keurig a couple of times. Friend insisted I get one. It really wasn't practical for me..as I drink coffee in multiples. Even with the carafe model and what not..too much of a bother.

It seems your coffeepot needs retirement.

It is going to be the "in case of emergency pot."
