It's just about noon here in my little area of Florida. I got to sleep in today, which was nice, especially since I think it was somewhere between three and four when I actually fell asleep. We actually have some kind of exciting plans for today. I guess that depends on how you look at it. Our friends who own the diner that we remodeled and helped them get up and running over the summer are having a car meet at the diner this afternoon/early evening, and we promised we'd be there to support them. The thirteen-year-old and her boyfriend are coming along. When we found out about this, I reminded her that she needed to do things her boyfriend likes, too, since he usually does whatever she wants to do when they hang out. There is also a little putt-putt place across the street from the diner that has been there for about a million years. Okay, not really. But it is fairly old, and it's dinosaur-themed. LOL, see what I did there? Anyway, that is our plan for the rest of the day. Although, if the thirteen-year-old's little boyfriend didn't do his chores, he won't be joining us. Which sucks, but they've got to learn that there are consequences to their actions. If the thirteen-year-old hadn't cleaned her room, she wouldn't be going either. Buuuut, I shall take pictures and share them later! In the meantime, here is a photo of the putt-putt place that I took for an article I wrote for a local "entertainment" guide over the summer.
