Day Off Well Spent

Today is a day off well spent. Woke up late and had a lovely breakfast with my husband and went out to walk the dog and play with her at the park. In the afternoon we headed to Tottenham to go shopping.
My husband took me to UNIQLO to pick out my birthday present. I get to choose this time as I prefer to like my present. I picked out a nice soufflé wool sweater and a corduroy trouser and my husband paid for me. I am very happy with it as I need more clothes since I don’t wear uniform at work.
After shopping we went to a little cafe. That specialise on crepe and chai to shelter ourselves from the rain. Then we had some chicken burger across the road at Popeye’s. We always loved their chicken there.
We went home and watched a movie and I would say that’s a perfect day off. How was your day today?

Sounds a good day off and how that should be !
Interesting that "Chai" and not "Tea" is attracting more people even outside India.
Here we have 2 cups a day on an average and sometimes 3.
Having more is of course not good as it can cause acidity.
UNIQLO has good collection of clothes.
Of late, I got a thermal warmer, a good warm cap which I used in freezing weather (below zero) in Denmark and a warm winter pant, which helped a lot.
Plus a new Denim a few months back.
My other family members too purchased a few things from there.

Chai sounds more authentic I suppose. It has the Indian flare. I love Uniqlo it is durable and good heat tech. Also quite reasonably priced.

I do. Have a couple of them at the moment and I needed an additional or I will destroy them from washing them frequently. Mix and match is the way to go most definitely.
